A survey carried out among probable primary voters in New York indicates that the younger challenger is ahead by 19 percentage points compared to the experienced senator. This poll, conducted in late March, involved 767 participants and assessed support levels by examining candidate biographies, political histories, and overall favorability.

Support for the challenger was robust across almost all significant demographic categories, particularly among voters aged under 45, where the lead expanded to 50 points. The incumbent held a marginal advantage solely among self-identified moderates.

Participants were additionally inquired about their views on the effectiveness of the current party leadership in tackling national political issues. A significant majority conveyed their discontent, feeling that their representatives were insufficiently addressing opposing political movements.
