• 1 cup (226g) unsahed butter, softened
• 3/4 teaspoon table salt
• 3/4 cup (90g) powdered sugar, plus additional for flattening
• 2 cups (2SOg) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 tablespoons (17g) cornstarch

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325tF (165’C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the softened butter on medium-high speed
until lightened in color and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Scrape down the sides as needed.
3. Add the vanilla extract, salt, and powdered sugar. Beat on high speed until creamy, about 2 minutes.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and cornstarch.
