Today we will embark on a culinary joumey to create a delightful dessert thats been highly sought aner
on my Instagram — the ever-delectable Banana Cake.
This extraordinary dessert pairs the nostalgia of classic banana pudding with the comforting goodness of
cake. So, without fumer ado, let’s get started on this easy-to-follow recipe.
First things first, the Buttercream Frosting:
Ingredients:
1 lb (or 4 sticks) of unsalted butter
4 cups Of confectioners’ sugar
• 1 tablespoon of mdk
• 2 tablespoons of clear vanilla extract (Regular vanilla extract works too!)
Steps:
1. ‘Miip the unsalted butter until it achieves a creamy texture.
2 Gradually intoduce the confectionerS sugar, mixing it manually to prevent a pov,’dery mess.

3 Once all lumps are smoothed out and the sugar is well-integrated, add the milk and vanilla extract.
4. ‘iMIip the for about five minutes until it becomes smootl. Voila, your buttercream frosting is
ready!

Now, let’s shift gears to the Cake Mix:
Ingredients:
1 box of vanilla cake mix
• 1 box cf vanilla pudding mix
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup of water
. 1/4 cup of all-purpose four
Steps:
1. Combine the vanilla cake and pudding mixes in a large bow
2 Crack open the three eggs into the mix
3 Add the vegetable oil, water, and all-purpose flour_
4. Blend the until smooth and lump-free.
5. Divide the batter into three 6-inch cake pans evenly.
6. Bake at for 25 to 30 minutes.
Vv’tlile your cake layers are baking, lets prep the Banana Pudding Filling.
Ingredients:

• 1 box of banana pudding nix
1 cup of milk
• 2 large spoonfuls of whipped topping
Steps:
1. Combine the banana pudding mix and milk in a bowl.
2. Whip until it achieves a thick consistency, typically taking about two minutes_
3. Add the whipped topping and blend until it’s well cont)ined.
Now that all the components are ready, its time for the fun part — the Assembly:
1. Start with a layer of cake and pipe a border of buttercream frosting around the edges.
2. FNI the center with the banana pudding filling. Optionally, you can add slices of banana for an extra
burst of flavor
3. Repeat the steps for the remaining layers, and then cover the entire cake with a thin layer of
buttercream frosting for a crumb coat.
4 Chill the cake for about 30 minutes to an hour.
5. After the chill, apply the final coat of icing.
To finish, create your mvn signature style! I love crushing vanilla wafers and sticking them on the sides of
the cake for a fun W.’ist. On top, I pipe some decorative swirls with the leftover buttercream, sprinkle
more crushed wafers, and drizzle a generous amount of sweetened condensed mik for a divine finish.
